An-225 Mriya
An-225 Mriya (that means Dream in Ukrainian) was the world's largest plane. Russian airborne troops ruined it at Gostomel Airport during unsuccessful attempt to capture Kyiv in the end of February 2022.
KARAZIN UNIVERSITY IN KHARKIV
Top-ranked and one of the largest universities in Ukraine have been repeatedly shelled during Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Presently it doesn't have a single building that has not been damaged.
MARIUPOL DRAMA THEATRE
Became a shelter for around a thousand of civilians. Despite the word “ДЕТИ” (Children) visible from the sky on March 16, the Russian aircraft dropped a heavy bomb on the Theater. Many people were killed.
Kyiv TV Tower
On Mrach 1 Russia fired two cruise missiles on Kyiv TV Tower trying to disable media access for Ukrainians in the Battle of Kyiv. The tower is located at the terittory of Babyn Yar Holocaust memorial.
CHERNIHIV YOUTH LIBRARY
Chernihiv became one of the key northern outposts of Ukraine in stopping Russian invasion. Historical building of the Library survived the Second World War but was ruined by Russians in 2022.
KHARKIV DOWNTOWN
Kharkiv is the second largest city in Ukraine and is located 30 km from the border with Russia. The aggressor lost the Battle of Kharkiv but it has ruined almost the entire city, shelling the downtown especially.
