Most of the Pysanky depicted on the puzzle were drawn by Vira Manko, a Pysanka artist and promoter of Ukrainian folk art from Lviv, born in 1956. She has been engaged in Pysanka art since 1986. She is a member of the Lviv branch of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine. Vira Manko created more than three thousand Pysanky with themes from different regions of Ukraine. She currently owns a large private collection, which includes more than 3,500 Pysanky, both self-made reproductions of ancient artifacts and modern, purchased at the Easter fairs.
