The Easter eggs depicted on the puzzle were painted by Vira Manko, a Lviv-based Easter egg painter who is a popularizer of Ukrainian folk art.
Pysanka, like the egg in general, symbolizes the beginning and birth of life. At all times, Pysanka was given as a sign of truce, a wish for health, beauty, strength and harvest.
