Pysanka, like the egg in general, symbolizes the beginning and birth of life. At all times, Pysanka was given as a sign of truce, a wish for health, beauty, strength and harvest.

This puzzle is excellent quality and a bit challenging-which is a perfect combo.

Excellent craftsmanship, including the wooden box. Intriguing puzzle shapes that fit well. I had one issue….when the puzzle arrived, it spilled out, as the lid does not close tightly and there is no inner bag to hold the pieces. I thought I lost pieces, as the count is less than 200. I completed the puzzle and all is safe. There also is a very strong smell that took a long time to dissipate.

We purchased three puzzles in December and were pleased by the variety of choices and the quick arrival. They were also more affordable than I would have expected.
We are saving the Ukrainian eggs puzzle for Easter but our family had a lot of fun with the Snake Island inage remembering the brave Ukrainians posted at Snake Island and their blunt comment.
We will definitely consider buying again.
